Do the products need to be calibrated?
The testers are calibrated at the factory before delivery to your facilities, the calibration certificate comes with the tester.
There are no moving parts in the device and it rarely drifts, although we suggest calibrating the testers at least once a year or as per local PUC or company regulations to ensure that your measuring instruments always perform according to expected specifications and standards.
Calibration can be performed in house using a calibration kit and a NIST traceable standard. If you would like to verify if your standard is compatible, please contact technical support by clicking here: Open a Support Ticket.
We also offer calibration services at our facility, please send us an email to info@probewell.com for an RMA estimate and return instructions.
- Turnaround time is normally under 2 weeks. Calibration provided by us includes a cleaning and inspection of the circuits and harware.
